Days ahead of the Mobile World Congress, Samsung unveiled the S5620 Monte, its latest mid-range feature phone. It will be showcased at MWC (hopefully with more exciting devices).
The Samsung S5620 Monte is powered by Samsung’s propietary TouchWiz 2.0 Plus operating system and interface. It comes with quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE and dual-band UMTS/HSDPA connectivity, a 3-inch WQVGA touchscreen dislay, 200MB of internal memory, GPS/A-GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1, a microSD card slot (up to 16GB), a 3.2 MP camera, a 3.5mm headphone jack, an FM radio with RDS, and a 1,000mAh battery. It will support one-touch access to a number of social media services (including Facebook and MySpace)and the Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync and Google Sync services.
Samsung did not disclose availability and pricing information for the S5620 Monte.
