Samsung has several times announced that it would launch its first tablet, the Samsung Tab, sometime in the third quarter (August or September being likely). We could find out a lot more at a Samsung press event scheduled to take place on August 11th. While the press invitation does not mention the tablet, it promises new products:
Join us as Samsung celebrates a new dimension of Wonder with new products and announcements on August 11 – Come explore what’s new.
Then again, Samsung could unveil a completely different family of products and leave us wondering about the specifications and release dates of the Samsung Tab a bit longer.
