When Samsung unveiled the Samsung Galaxy Tab for North America last month, it was announced that all four major US carriers (AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon Wireless) would offer it (as well as Bell Mobility and Rogers Wireless here in Canada). Unfortunately, none revealed pricing or availability details except to confirm that it would be by the end of the year. A couple of leaks have now shed some new light on both pricing and street dates.
According to TheBoyGeniusReport.com sources, Sprint will launch the Samsung Galaxy Tab “around November 14.” They add that it will sell for US$399 with a two-year contract and US$599 contract-free.
TMoNews.com reports similar pricing with T-Mobile USA set to offer Tab for US$399 with a two-year contract and US$649 contract free. These prices appear to include a US$50 mail-in rebate. There is no word on availability from T-Mobile though.
