Rogers Wireless is about to add another Android device to its lineup. According to MobileSyrup.com sources, this newest Android device will be the Samsung Galaxy Spica which was first released in Europe late last year.
Rogers has not made any announcement but MobileSyrup.com has landed pictures of a Rogers-branded dummy phone. These are apparently now arriving in stores in preparation for an upcoming launch.
The Samsung Spica is powered by an 800MHz processor and Google Android 1.5. It comes with 3G connectivity, a 3.2-inch capacitive touchscreen HVGA display, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1, a 3.2MP auto-focus camera, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a microSD card slot (supporting cards up to 32GB), microUSB, and a 1,500mAh battery. It is also the first Android device to support DivX playback.
