TELUS appears set to join Bell Mobility and Rogers Wireless in offering a Galaxy S smartphone to its customers. According to an internal document obtained by MobileSyrup.com, the 4-inch super AMOLED display smartphone is coming soon but there are no details as to specific pricing or availability.
In the US, the Samsung Fascinate is offered by CDMA-based Verizon. A note in the TELUS document, describing the Fascinate as a 3G+ device, suggests that TELUS will launch it on its newer HSPA network rather than its older CDMA one.
Will TELUS also surprise us and offer the Galaxy Tab tablet later? So far, only Bell and Rogers have announced plans to carry it.
