Sadly, Samsung did not announce the rumoured Google Nexus Two last night at its latest press event. Instead, it announced the Samsung Continuum, its latest Galaxy S smartphone. It comes with a secondary display that acts as a ticker display to show information such as the weather or the time without needing to turn on the main display. Users simply have to grip the bottom sides to activate the ticker.

Verizon will offer the Samsung Continuum. Pre-orders will begin on November 11th with the device reaching stores on November 18th. It will sell for US$199.99 after a US$100 mail-in rebate and with a two-year contract.
