Samsung is the latest to issue a statement contradicting Apple’s claims that all smartphones suffer from signal attenuation. Referring to the device singled out by Steve Jobs, Samsung’s statement read: “We have not received significant customer feedback on any signal reduction issue for the Omnia II.”
Like Nokia and RIM, Samsung stressed that its designs use “an internal antenna design technology that optimizes reception quality for any type of hand-grip use.”
