Rogers Wireless today announced that it is adding another tablet device, the Dell Streak, to its lineup. The announcement follows Dell’s own launch on its website yesterday.
“The tablet category is changing the way people interact, transact and stay entertained,” says Raj Doshi, Vice President, Mobile Product Management, Rogers Communications Inc. “The Dell Streak represents an innovative offering, giving customers the next-generation experience of a tablet with the portability and connectivity of a smartphone. Rogers is pleased be first to bring the Dell Streak to our customers and further extend our leadership as the carrier with the most Android choices in Canada.”
Rogers will offer the Dell Streak for CA$149.99 with a three-year contract. Note that as of this morning, it is not live on the Rogers site yet. You can also pick it up directly from Dell Canada for CA$549.99 with no contract (but still tied to Rogers).
Update: The Dell Streak is now available directly from Rogers at www.rogers.com/dellstreak.
