Rogers Wireless launched the BlackBerry Curve 8520 back in October 2009. Until now, it’s been available in black or lavender. As of today, it is also available in white.
The BlackBerry Curve 8520 is powered by a 512MHz processor and the BlackBerry OS. It comes with quad-band (850/900/1800/1900MHz) GSM/GPRS/EDGE connectivity, a 2.46-inch QVGA display, 256MB Flash memory, 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, support for the Rogers TalkSpot service, a 2MP camera, a 3.5mm stereo headset jack, a microSDHC memory card slot, and a 1150mAh battery. Aside from the traditional QWERTY keyboard, it also comes with a touch-sensitive trackpad for navigation and dedicated media keys at the top of the handset.
The BlackBerry Curve 8520 is now available from Rogers for CA$49.99 with a three-year service contract (minimum CA$45 per month voice and data plan required). The price jumps to CA$349.99 with a two-year service contract, CA$399.99 with a one-year or CA$449.99 without terms.
