After running into manufacturing delays that prevented an earlier launch, Rogers today began to take pre-orders for the Samsung Captivate. As reported earlier, it will be available online and in stores starting in mid-October. The pre-order ends October 20th.
Not only will customers who pre-order the Samsung Captivate get a free Samsung WEP570 Bluetooth headset but they will also be entered into a draw to win a Samsung entertainment package consisting of a 55-inch LED Series 9 TV, a Blu-ray home theatre system and a Samsung NX10 digital camera.
Hardware upgrade eligibility for existing customers will be available when the Samsung Captivate is available (October 21st considering that pre-orders end on the 20th?).
Rogers will offer the Samsung Captivate for CA$149.99 with a three-year service contract.
