Research In Motion today announced the BlackBerry Bold 9780, the successor to the Bold 9700. The main changes over its predecessor are a number hardware upgrades and BlackBerry 6.

The BlackBerry Bold 9780 will be available from various carriers around the world starting in November. In Canada, Rogers has confirmed it will carry it (Thanks, Miranda!). In the US, it will be carried by T-Mobile starting on November 17th.
