As expected, the Palm Pre Plus and Palm Pixi Plus both went on sale at Verizon Wireless today.
The Palm Pre Plus features an updated design which eliminates the center button, ups memory to 16GB (15GB user available storage), and includes an inductive back cover. The Palm Pixi Plus adds Wi-Fi but remains otherwise unchanged. Both also benefit from the new Palm mobile hotspot, a Palm webOS app that turns these devices into mobile Wi-Fi routers for up to five devices (for US$40/month).
Verizon is now selling the Palm Pre Plus for US$149.99 and the Palm Pixi Plus for US$99.99, both after a US$100 mail-in rebate and a two-year service contract.
