The recently announced Palm Pre 2 is now available directly from HP. The single model (GSM connectivity) offered is unlocked and sells for US$449.99.
Verizon is expected to offer the Palm Pre 2 and rumours suggest that Rogers Wireless will offer it in Canada.
The Palm Pre 2 is the first webOS 2.0 device to be released. Rumours suggest that HP could release up to six webOS2.0 devices (smartphones and tablets) in 2011.
