The rumours have proven true: The HTC Desire Z will be carried exclusively by Bell Mobility in Canada.
“Combining performance, style and usability, the HTC Desire Z is both the perfect multimedia companion and a fresh way for connecting with friends, family or colleagues,” said Jason Mackenzie, President of HTC Americas. “We are thrilled to be working with Bell Mobility to bring this communications experience to their customers, while at the same time providing the first device in North America with enhanced HTC Sense.”
HTC expects that the HTC Desire Z will be the first smartphone in Canada to offer download speeds up to 14.4Mbps as well as sport the latest version of HTC Sense.
The new landing page reveals little except that it is “coming soon.” Earlier rumours have suggested that Bell will sell it for CA$499.99 with no contract.
