Nokia today announced its latest flagship smartphone, the Nokia N8. It will be the first device to use the latest version of Symbian’s mobile OS, Symbian ^3.

Like other Nokia devices, it will come with free global Ovi Maps walk and drive navigation and Ovi Store access. It will support Qt, a software development environment that will allow the development of applications for Symbian and other software platforms.
The Nokia N8 will be available for €370 (US$490) in select markets during the third quarter of 2010.
