Nokia had hoped that its latest flagship smartphone, the Nokia E7, would be out this year but that will not happen. A Nokia spokesman confirmed that the device’s release was delayed until next year: “To ensure the best possible user experience on the E7 we have decided to begin shipping in early 2011.”
Nokia’s N8 smartphone began to ship in late September after shipment delays of its own. Some N8s have also experienced power issues.
2010 was not kind to Nokia. Perhaps the new year and a new CEO will see an improvement in its fortunes…
