Nokia today confirmed that the long expected Nokia N8-00 will be available for sale later this month. The press release refers only to the UK at this point and it will be available exclusively on the Nokia Online Shop during the last week of September. Wider distribution will occur starting October 1st.
The Nokia N8 will sell for £429 SIM free. It will also be available at a subsidized price with a contract from carriers such as Three Mobile, Orange, T-Mobile, and Vodafone.
Nokia has been taking pre-orders in the US since mid-August, promising an "end of September 2010" shipment date.
