As I was working on a post about confirmation that Windows Phone 7 would support tethering, the word came down from Microsoft that this would in fact not be the case. The correction came after Director of Windows Phone 7 Brandon Watson indicated that it would during an interview for the TWiT podcast Windows Weekly.
The official Microsoft statement is clear:
“Windows Phone 7 does not support tethering.”
Which one will you miss more: Cut-and-paste or tethering?
