Now comes word that Palm is in fact working on a completely new device codenamed ‘Mansion.’
According to PreCentral.net’s source, the new device will come with an 800×480 touchscreen display and will not have a physical keyboard. Virtual keyboard code exists in webOS 2.0, lending credence to the rumour.
It’s not clear if this new device is one of the two models recently spotted.If not, there are at least three new smartphones (and the PalmPad) in Palm’s development pipeline. Are we finally seeing signs of HP’s promised increased R&D spending?
