T-Mobile USA have released a few new details about the upcoming T-Mobile G2. Rather than the expected 1GHz processor, it will run a 800MHz Scorpion processor. It will run Google Android 2.2 with no customized UI (ie, no HTC Sense) and will be “ready” for Flash 10.1.
It remains to be seen how well this 800MHz processor which is part of Qualcomm’s new MSM7x30 Snapdragon chipset will fare against the 1GHz processors in the older QSD8x50 lineup.
On the not-so-official side, TmoNews.com reports that the G2 will sell for US$199.99 with a two-year contract or US$499.99 without when it goes on sale on the rumoured date of September 29th.
