Rumours surfaced back in May that Pegatron had landed an Apple order to manufacture a CDMA version of the iPhone. Digitimes is now reporting that Pegatron will begin to ship this CDMA-based iPhone 4 in the fourth quarter from its plants in Shanghai, China.
Other past rumours suggest that the new CDMA iPhone 4 could be headed to Verizon as well as other CDMA carriers across the world.
Pegatron is also looking to land orders from Apple for MacBooks and iPads.
