Kobo has dropped the Canadian price of its Kobo eReader to CA$128 (from CA$149), matching an earlier US price drop. The price is in effect “while quantities last.” Maybe I’m reading too much into this but this seems to suggest that Kobo might be gearing up to introduces a second generation device.
The black version of the Kobo eReader is already out of stock but the porcelain version is still available.
Kobo launched its eReader back in March. Since going on sale first in Canada in May, it is now available in Australia, New Zealand, and the US.
