TELUS appears to be one step closer to its promised Motorola Milestone launch. The Milestone is now featured as ‘Coming soon’ on its home page.
The Motorola Milestone is powered by a 550MHz TI processor and Google Android 2.0. It comes with quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE and dual-band WCDMA/HSPA connectivity, a 3.7-inch WVGA capacitive touchscreen display (480 by 854 pixels), a slide-out QWERTY keyboard with d-pad to the right, 256MB RAM and 512MB ROM, GPS/A-GPS, 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR and A2DP, a 3.5mm audio jack, a 5MP camera with auto-focus and dual-LED flash, a microSDHC card slot (supporting cards up to 32GB), and a 1,400mAh battery. It comes with the pinch-and-zoom feature missing on the Verizon DROID but there is no mention of Google Maps Navigation (which is only available in the U.S.).
