Motorola confirmed rumours that it was working on a Google-branded phone. The revelation was made by co-CEO Sanjay Jha during an analyst call today. Like the Google Nexus One, Jha indicated that Motorola’s Google phone would be “sold directly to consumers.”
Earlier this month, rumours suggested that the Motorola Shadow could become the Google Nexus Two (if this is to be what it will be called).
No details, including a release date, about the Google-branded smartphone were revealed during the call.
Jha also revealed that Motorola expects to introduce 20 smartphones this year, including the Google-branded one.
