AT&T announced today that it will offer the Motorola BACKFLIP starting in March. This marks the first time that AT&T will offer a Google Android-powered device.
BACKFLIP features a unique form-factor with an original reverse flip design, spacious keyboard and BACKTRACK touch panel, allowing the display to be hands-free while one’s fingers work behind the screen. BACKFLIP runs on the nation’s fastest 3G network and is powered by MOTOBLUR, Motorola’s Android-powered content delivery service created to make phones more personal and socially smart.

The Motorola BACKFLIP will be available from AT&T starting on March 7th for US$99.99 after a US$100 mail-in rebate and a two-year service contract (with voice plan and US$30/month data plan).
