More pictures of the upcoming BlackBerry Bold 9800 slider have surfaced. The new pictures not only show the hardware but a few shots of BlackBerry 6 as well. These are also of decent quality and give us a good look at this device.
The pictures also reveal that BlackBerry 6 will come with a virtual keyboard (as well as the slide-out physical QWERTY keyboard), a new media player, a new podcast app, and the new webKit-based browser.
IntoMobile.com has also managed to confirm that the 9800 will not come with RIM’s Surepress technology, suggesting that it will instead be a more traditional capacitive touchscreen display.
Past rumours suggest a summer release (perhaps as early as mid-June) with AT&T and Rogers Wireless.
