More evidence that DROID 2 will launch on August 12th

There is new evidence that Verizon will launch the Motorola DROID 2 on August 12^th as had been rumoured a while back.

First, a leaked Verizon internal document suggests that the DROID 2 will be officially announced on August 10^th. The announcement will include pricing and the specific availability date. On that day, stores will also have the devices active and available but not “merchandised” (presumably that means not available for sale). The next day, there will be a ‘Online Only Pre-Sale’ with the official launch following the next day.
