When you think about high end Google Android smartphones, chances are that current offerings such as the LG Eve and LG Swift from LG Electronics do not spring to mind But that could soon change. It appears that LG is working on a higher-end device currently known as the LG Aloha (model C710h).
According to information gleaned from a User Agent Profile and a Wi-Fi certificate (PDF document), the LG C710h could come with the following specifications:
- GSM/GPRS/EDGE and UMTS/HSDPA/HSUPA connectivity
- Touchscreen display running at 800 by 480
- 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi
- QWERTY keyboard
I like the idea that LG could be thinking of a physical keyboard when all other manufacturers seems focused on software keyboards on their higher end Android devices.
There is no word yet on when the LG Aloha could become available.
