LG has once again indicated that it plans to have its first Windows Phone 7 device out by the end of the year. Asked during an interview when LG would release an “iPhone Killer”, Ahn Seung-kwon, President and CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company, said that a Windows Phone 7 smartphone would be released in the second half of the year.
Ahn went on to indicate that LG would release 10 new smartphones starting in Q3. With no plans to introduce its own mobile OS, LG will use both Windows Phone 7 and Google Android for these upcoming devices.
