The LG Optimus 2X announcement last week made no mention of North America. Now comes word that we may not have to wait so long to see it here as well. RCR Wireless is reporting that, according to a “rather good authority,” it will land at T-Mobile USA as early as late February or early March (after the Mobile World Congress).
T-Mobile launched the very first Android device, the T-Mobile G1 (by HTC), back in late 2008 and it may be looking for yet another North American first (the first dual-core Android smartphone) with the launch of the LG Optimus 2X.
There is still no hint as to when we could see the LG Optimus 2X in Canada.
