Is the Storm3 none other than the BlackBerry 9570? (Updated)

Over the past few days, there have been a number of rumours about the BlackBerry Storm 3. Among them have been a leaked picture and some specifications (3.7-inch display, 8GB onboard memory, and mobile Wi-Fi hotspot connectivity).

BBLeaks.com has landed a screenshot of the BlackBerry 9570, a new model in the Storm family. Additional details also reveal show that the 9570 will be powered by a 624Mhz processor and BlackBerry 6 and CDMA connectivity. It looks set to come with with 512MB RAM, a 5MP camera, and the same Surepress touchscreen technology as the current Storm2.

Could it be that the Storm3 will be nothing more than a slightly improved Storm2 running BlackBerry 6?

Update: BBLeaks.com has released additional pictures of the BlackBerry 9570, confirming that it is essentially a Storm2 with updated internals to better support BlackBerry 6. The 256MB on the Storm2 is not sufficient for BlackBerry 6 and the resource-hungry touchscreen, hence the refresh.
