AT&T appears set to launch what is being described as “the smallest Android device” yet. Very grainy pictures of this device, the HTC Aria, were sent by “solid” tipsters to AndroidGuys.com. Pictured next to a business card, it does not appear to be very much bigger.
In terms of specifications, the HTC Aria is supposed to come with Google Android 2.1 with HTC Sense, a 5MP camera, a microUSB port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and an optical joystick. The display could be as small as 2.5-inches likely with a QVGA resolution. It could sport a slide-out keypad but the pictures neither confirm or deny this.
AT&T will apparently announce the HTC Aria on June 7th, the same day that Apple is expected to announce its latest iPhone.
