Engadget has landed a couple of additional pictures and details of the upcoming HP Zeen tablet which will ship with the PhotoSmart eStation C510.
Engadget’s source confirms that the stock Android homescreen will be replaced by HP’s TouchSmart interface and that both GMail and the Google Market will not be available. Instead, HP will provide a custom email client and integration with Yahoo services such as Mail and Messenger. The pictures also confirm the Barnes & Noble e-reader application and the presence of apps for Facebook, Coupons, 60 Minutes, DreamWorks and MSNBC.
Engadget has also learned that the touchscreen accuracy has been improved but is still being worked on prior to a late September release date. It also appears that the Zeen will not be available alone; you will need to buy the PhotoSmart eStation C510 for US$399 to get your hands on it.
