A report from the China Economic News Service suggests that HP could release up to six webOS devices in 2011. Foxconn could supply four or five of these devices, including the upcoming PalmPad, with Compal to provide one additional device.
No details were given about the devices themselves. I suspect that between CDMA and GSM variants, we could actually only see 3 or 4 new devices (the PalmPad, successors for the Pre 2 and Pixi and perhaps one new form factor perhaps with no physical keyboard).
HP acquired Palm earlier this year and promised to invest more in R&D. It appears that we could soon see the results of this promise.
