Google has apparently begun to push out an Android 2.2 update for the Google Nexus One. Google had announced that one was coming within weeks shortly after it announced the latest version of its mobile OS.
TechCrunch’s own MG Siegler has already received the update for his Google Nexus One. There are also a few other reports of users getting the update. It also looks like there are far more users indicating that they have not seen the update than there are who have received it, suggesting that if this is the official rollout, Google is taking it very slowly for now.
Google has yet to officially confirm the rollout so it’s not clear whether it is truly underway or if Google is testing it with a small group first.
