Google has confirmed that it will push out Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) to the Google Nexus One in the near future. The Nexus team confirmed the widely expected news via Twitter:
The Gingerbread OTA for Nexus One will happen in the coming weeks. Just hang tight!
The only smartphone to have Google Android 2.3 right now is the Google Nexus S. If past updates are any indication, it will take quite a bit longer for other Android phones to get the update.
