Sony Ericsson launched the Naite exclusively on Fido today. The Naite is the first GreenHeart phone to come to Canada.
“We are excited to be offering Sony Ericsson GreenHeart(TM) phones to our Canadian customers,” said Andrea Gaal, General Manager, Sony Ericsson Canada. “Being environmentally conscious shouldn’t mean consumers have to sacrifice features or style so we’ve created a phone that is packed with great features to help consumers manage their busy lives while supporting Sony Ericsson’s GreenHeart(TM) commitments.”
Greenheart devices are Sony Ericsson’s line of more environmentally friendly products. For example, the Naite’s casing is made with a minimum of 50 percent post-consumer recycled plastics and it comes with an e-manual instead of a paper manual and a low power consumption charger.

Fido is now offering the Sony Ericsson Naite for CA$25 with a two-year service contract. It is also available for CA$150 without one.
