The FCC has once again outed an unreleased device. This time, it’s the RIM BlackBerry Curve 8980, a likely successor to the Curve 8900 that RIM has yet to announce.
According to the documentation on the FCC website, the BlackBerry Curve 8980 will be powered by BlackBerry OS 5 (rather than the newer BlackBerry 6). It will come with quad-band GSM connectivity, 256MB Flash memory, 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, a 3.2 MP camera with flash, a QWERTY keyboard and optical trackpad, and a micro-USB connector. It will measure 109 by 60 by 13.6 millimeters and weigh 117 grams.
There is no word on when RIM will announce the BlackBerry Curve 8980.
