CES 2010: Dell reveals prototype tablet

Not wanting to be left out, Dell showed off its own prototype tablet PC at CES 2010. The device is still at the prototype stage and the company is still playing with various hardware permutations. The device shown off is quite similar to the Dell Streak seen a few months back.

Dell revealed only a few details about the device. Powered by Google Android, this prototype comes with a 5-inch touchscreen display and lacks a physical keyboard. It also comes with a SIM slot, suggesting that Dell could partner with carriers to offer it (perhaps AT&T that just announced it would offer the Dell mini 3?).

Dell provided no details as to when this device could hit the market.
