The rumoured BlackBerry Bold 9800 slider could be available from AT&T as early as sometime in June according to The Boy Genius Report. A release in mid to late June is suggested, perhaps to avoid a direct conflict with the launch of the next generation Apple iPhone widely expected to be unveiled at this year’s WWDC.
BGR also reports that AT&T may have placed an order for as many as 1 million Bold 9800s and that it will have an exclusive (period of time still unknown).
With AT&T’s exclusivity period, it looks like Sprint would not be able to launch a CDMA variant until the end of the year.
