Owners of BlackBerry Bold 9650 devices have new reason to hope that they will be able to upgrade to BlackBerry 6. BlackBerryLeaks.com have obtained pictures of the BlackBerry Bold 9650 running BlackBerry 6.
With 512MB flash memory, it looks like the device has enough capacity to manage the memory footprint required by the latest version of RIM’s mobile OS. It also appears that devices with less memory will be left out unfortunately.
Let’s hope that RIM outlines exactly what devices will be upgradeable to BlackBerry 6 at next week’s event (along with the expected BlackBerry 9800 announcement).
