With confirmation earlier this year that the Canadian launch of Windows Phone 7 devices would coincide with the US release, it’s no surprise that Bell Mobility is set to release the LG Optimus Quantum on November 8th. It will be the only WP7 QWERTY slider available in Canada at launch time.
The LG Optimus Quantum will come with a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE and tri-band HSPA connectivity, a 3.5-inch WVGA touchscreen display, 16GB of onboard storage, and a 5MP camera capable of 720p HD video. It will also support DLNA.
Bell is set to offer the LG Optimus Quantum for CA$449.95 without contract. Subsidized pricing has not been revealed but expect it to fall around CA$100 with a three-year contract.
