According to a leaked internal document obtained by BoyGeniusReport.com, Bell Mobility will soon charge its customers an additional CA$10 per month to access the company’s HSPA+ network.
The document reveals that Bell is currently upgrading its HSPA+ network, promising to double “peak data speeds over what clients currently enjoy.” New devices, including Turbo Sticks and Turbo Hubs, will also be introduced to take advantage of the higher speeds. Smartphones are not explicitly mentioned but I doubt that they would be excluded once available.
There is no word on when the new charges could go into effect but it could be as early as the coming weeks.
