Bell Mobility launches Samsung Galaxy Tab

Samsung GALAXY Tab

Bell Mobility today launched the Samsung Galaxy Tab. It will not be available at all Bell locations so be sure to check the Samsung Galaxy Tab store list (PDF document) or call ahead to avoid disappointment.

“Fitting easily in one hand or into a pocket or purse and with access to the best Mobile TV news, sports and entertainment content on Canada’s Best Network, the Samsung Galaxy Tab offers Bell Mobility clients a premium mobile entertainment experience in a very portable package,” said Adel Bazerghi, Bell Mobility’s Senior Vice President of Products.

Bell Mobility is offering the Samsung Galaxy Tab with no contract for CA$649.95. If you sign up for a Tablet Flex plan, Bell will give you a CA$50 credit, effectively dropping the price to CA$599.95. You can also opt to go with a pre-paid plan (but lose out on the credit).

Two Flex plans are available: 500MB for CA$20 per month or 5GB for CA$35 per month. If you sign up for the former and exceed the 500MB limit, you will be automatically moved up to the CA$35 plan. Data over 5GB will be charged at CA$0.15 per additional MB. You can also add Tablet TV which includes up to 10 hours of TV.

Pre-paid options include CA$15 per month for 250MB, CA$35 per month for 5GB, or CA$45 per month for 5GB and Tablet TV.
