On the heels of the announcement that the Palm Pre Plus and Pixi Plus are coming to AT&T comes word that the carrier will also soon offer the Android-based Dell Aero smartphone.
The Dell Aero will be Dell’s first smartphone to be available in the United States. It will come with a custom user interface developed by Dell and AT&T. It promises a “variety of social networking apps including Facebook” and Flash Lite support for streaming audio and video content. In terms of hardware, it will have a 3.5-inch nHD display, GPS, Wi-Fi, and a 5MP camera.
You can now sign up to receive an email alert from AT&T as soon as the Dell Aero is available.
Update: The AT&T page for the Dell Aero is now up. I’ve updated the post with additional details.
