Microsoft was also busy today sending out press invitations for an event on April 12th. Little is known about the event which teases us with the tagline: “It’s time to share.”
Fortunately, CNET sources have confirmed that Microsoft will unveil its oft-rumoured slider phones (codenamed Pure and Turtle). The two devices will target the same audience as that of the Sidekick (which Microsoft acquired in 2008 when it bought Danger).
CNET has also learned that Verizon is expected to offer the two devices. They should be on sale about a month after the announcement.
