Apple iOS 4 jailbroken

Apple

There were some good news over the weekend for iPhone 4 users waiting to jailbreak their phones. Comex and the rest of the iPhone Dev Team announced that the iOS 4 jailbreak is now available. Unlike previous versions, all you need now is to point your Safari browser to a website, hit a button, and wait a few minutes for the magic to happen.

A jailbreak is simply the ability to run apps and use themes and tweaks not approved by Apple. Jailbreaking doesn’t slow down your device or use any extra battery, and is fully reversible (just restore in iTunes). A jailbreak lets your device be how you want it.

The hack also works on other Apple devices including older iPhones and the iPad.

Just days ago, the Library of Congress ruled that jailbreaking was legal in the US. On the other hand, it still voids your Apple warranty.
