Bloomberg got it wrong earlier today. Apple has just announced its annual September event and it will take place earlier than expected. It will in fact take place on September 1st at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts Theater in San Fransisco.
As usual, Apple reveals little about the event but the invite itself does suggest that music will be at least one of the topics. Rumours suggest new iPods, a revamped Apple TV (perhaps to be renamed to iTV), and television episode rentals.
