LG is not the only manufacturer working on a high-end Android smartphone with a QWERTY keyboard (the rumoured LG Aloha). According to a leaked device profile, HTC is also working on a similar device.
Codenamed Vision, the device would come with a high-resolution 800 by480 display as well as the aforementioned QWERTY keyboard. The device would likely run Android 2.1 but 2.2 is also possible.
HTC Benelux director, Mark Moons, confirmed to Tweakers.net that Android phones with physical QWERTY keyboards are in the works but he did not reveal any details nor confirm that the HTC Vision was one of them.
