If Mobile-Review.com has it right, Google has chosen the upcoming Motorola MOTOPAD as the first device for Google Android 3.0. The only other detail revealed, aside from the device name, is that it will come with a 7-inch display.

Rumours of a Motorola tablet have been around for some time now. Most have focused on a 10-inch model though. It’s not clear if Motorola is working on two tablets or if it switched gears to focus on a device with a smaller display.
There is no word on when the MOTOPAD could be announced but a leaked Verizon roadmap suggested February 2011 (albeit for a 10-inch tablet). Motorola co-CEO Sanjay Jha has also dropped hints in the past that Motorola would like to have an Android tablet out in early 2011.
Last year, Motorola was the first device manufacturer to show off Android 2.0 when it unveiled the Motorola DROID.
